Back & Breast Plates

Foot cuirass, composed by a breastplate and a back fastened to one another by leather straps. It allows complete protection of the trunk. Used by european infantrymen since the second half of the XVth century. The plain surfaces and the linear edges identify it as an "italian style" product, that is produced in the style of the lombard master armourers.
