Breast Plate

One-piece breastplate covering the front of the body and in use in Europe since the first part of the XVth century. Mainly worn by foot soldiers it was fastened to the body with leather belts that cross themeselves on the back. The plain breastplate surface and its linear edges identify it as an "italian style" product, which is produced in the style of the lombard master armourers. Handcrafted in Italy in burnished steel and equipped with leather belts.
