Takeda Shingen was one of the greatest Samurai commanders of his day and an astute governor of people.

Size Range:
Height: For a comfortable fitting suit with full mobility we would recommend a height of between 5’10” and 6’2". Any taller or shorter and movement becomes restricted.

Waist: For a fully enclosed breastplate, we would recommend a waist size of no larger than 36”. The breastplate can accommodate up to a 46” waist. Close fitting clothes should be worn under the armour.

Chest: There is normally no problem with chest size; if your waist is small enough to fit in the armour, then your chest normally is too. If you do think there may be a problem with your chest size please contact us for guidance.

This armour is constructed to fit somebody of average/large size and build. If you are not in this category then movement may be severely restricted. If in doubt, please send us your measurements and/or a photograph.

As with the originals, it is impossible to dress/undress yourself in the armour and you will need somebody to help you in both tasks.

We do not hire out swords, as our insurance will not cover this. We do however offer a large selection for sale in the sword section of our site. If you would like some reccomendations please contact us.
